Ok, first off before I start my post, I wanted to post an ad that I thought I already posted but apparently didn’t   I must’ve closed it after previewing the post because the draft is just sitting here all lonely.  I wanted to let you all know that Kim B. is having a HUGE sale this week.  Here’s the graphic ad that will ‘splain it all nice and purdy for you:

So… what else is going on?!  I feel a ramble coming on because I haven’t posted a real blabber post in forever!  I was thinking earlier about all the stuff that’s happened since my last chatty post and couldn’t believe how long it’s been.  We’ve been through losing Izzy’s first tooth, to Izzy starting Kindergarten, then Izzy losing his second tooth, Izzy turning 6… which I’m still in denial about!  So many things, and that’s just Izzy!  A lot I’ve overlooked on purpose… I get like that when I get down or stressed out about things in real life outside of our fun little digi scrap world.  I forget that I need to keep looking at the positive sometimes and I just let it eat me alive.  I also have anxiety issues and when the sad and high strung Nett get together… they tie the silly Nett up and hide her away until she can break free again.  Hopefully that’s over with for a bit, or at least hopefully I’ve learned to work through a bit of it so I can find the silly again.  The last few days… yeah I’ve had a whole lot of it hanging out with me LOL.  It always starts with sleep deprivation, which happens to me a lot because I don’t sleep well EVER.  Even if I try to, I’m a major insomniac and get about 2 or 3 hours a night.  So starting with the slippers and jammies the other day the giggles started in me   We got him a new pair, kinda like a grandpa would wear… which is perfect for a guy like him LOL.  They didn’t really have any fun kids slippers that would fit him, I didn’t realize that once you hit 6 you didn’t get fun stuff anymore   He loved them though, because they came with a few new pairs of Spongebob pajamas.  Reagan wasn’t too happy with that, anything Spongebob is HERS and only HERS!!  She’s a freak for him still.  She calls him “Bob Bob Bobby” LOL it’s hilarious.  Well she calmed down once she saw that they had “Cars” slippers at Wal Mart.  She had to have them, man I love her… such a tomboy   They’re adorable slippers too, I took a pic of her in them to show you… but I can’t find where it ended up.  O-well.  So since I had the good mood moving in, I decided it was finally time to get our Christmas video made… last year I bought one of the Jib Jab Elf Yourself videos, as you all probably remember LOL.  It was a huge hit so I had another go with it.  I didn’t finish it until tonight, I had to find a better pic of Reagan because she apparently hated the first one I did.  She just sat and SCREAMED at the top of her lungs through it.  Now she seems happy, and they make me play it non stop.  Have a peek at it if you’d like, I can never get enough of Izzy’s ears… I keep joking saying that his ears were made for me to do this LOL.

That one is always my favorite, love seeing Mark disco LOL. They had a couple new ones this year, but I fought for the disco. The kids both wanted one where we all sang Christmas songs, but meh. I wasn’t feeling it. I’m not sure if it was the video itself, or just that I couldn’t understand what we were supposed to be singing. Every time I played it Izzy would laugh so loud, he’s all you could hear. So eventually I got annoyed with it LOL. I should give it another chance… Ok, here I’ll watch it again and let you see it too.

So I did get some sleep that night by the way.  When I did I had the most redonkulous dream too.  I’m thinking it gave me inspiration and maybe now there’s big things in store for Disasterpiece Studios!  I don’t know what my issue was because it’s only happened to a few photos that I can even think of… but apparently I had issue with Mark’s butt crack ruining one that I really liked?   I don’t know, all I know is that I had a dream that I started a service on my blog here that would take your cherished photos that have been ruined by your husbands pants falling down just far enough to show some crack… and I would make the butt crack look like a flower pot growing flowers.  Yes, yes I did. The extraction dork that I am, I would extract pretty flowers from other pictures and I would “plant” them in butt cracks to save many family photos.  Laugh at me if you must… but this service blew up HUGE… EVERYONE was ordering these from me LOL!  We ended up rich and in a mansion by the end of the dream… all because you wanted me to turn your hubby’s butt crack into a flower pot.  I have issues, this I know.  I will gladly accept that for dreams like that one though… getting to tell stories like that to my husband and son are the best LOL.  I had Izzy laughing so hard that no sound was coming out of his mouth.  I always know I did a good job if that happens

Well enough torturing you with my stupidity tonight   I think it’s time for me to get back to work and try to make some more goodies for you to scrap with.  Sound good?  I’m hoping to be back tomorrow or on Christmas Eve with a little freebie for you, just haven’t quite finished it up yet.  Take care all, thanks for stopping by!

Good morning!  Hope you’re doing well on this cold December morning   Today is running a bit smoother than yesterday, so the blogging is coming first so it doesn’t get put last like it has been lately.  My days just seem to get crazier as they pass.  I wake up with a plan in mind and things end up as far away from that as you can imagine.  Like yesterday, I woke up with the plan to get a few ads made to get ready for new releases in my stores today, and then I planned on working on a few projects to get ahead for the week instead of running late like I seem to be ALL the time anymore. Instead the phone rings early in the morning and that pretty much took away anything I needed to do for the day.  The stress of it brought on a horrible migraine and I ended up taking 3 naps before 6pm… before I finally just gave in and went to bed for good.  I think I woke up around 1 or 2 a.m. and *tried* to come to life but, yeah this screen can be quite bright in the dark so it didn’t take long before I was back in bed LOL.  So any way, I have no ads made for today… but I’m going to just post them the old way and say hi to you guys and get on with it   I think we’re going to get some shopping done today too.  Tomorrow they’re having a pajama day at school for Izzy and I swore to myself I was getting him new slippers before then LOL.  I don’t know if that thought brings you the flashback from last Christmas and those stupid elf slippers that he has?  A little refresher in case you’re a new visitor or just block my lame stories out of your mind.  Last year Mark grabbed a pair of slippers for Izzy as he shopped late at night after a long day at work.  They were cute, little elf heads and the noses flashed red when you walk.  Well, I noticed when getting ready to wrap them, that they were a womens slipper, and a size 7 LOL.  So I left them aside, didn’t wrap them… and both kids found them and fell in love with them on Christmas morning.  See how silly they are, here’s a shot of Reagan from Christmas morning 2008:

It’s hilarious seeing Reagan in them, but disturbing that Isaac wears them so much.  Nothing like a 6 year old boy who loves to hang out in his undies and light up elf slippers.  I also don’t feel they’re all that appropriate for a 6 year old boy to wear to school for the entire day LOL… so a shopping for slippers I will go today.  So… I guess I should get on with my stuff here in case any of you want to go shopping huh?!  My sales are going to be over before I stop the blabbing.  So I’ve got 3 new products out today, 2 at TDC and 1 at DSV.  Would’ve been 2 at each, but honestly I totally FORGOT I made another one.  How sad is that?!  I had this idea the other night, made it, scanned it, loved it, extracted it and got it ready.  Then thought I would include the other stuff I put out today WITH it.  So I work on that stuff, get it all done… and then last night had a dream about the first product!  I woke up and seriously couldn’t believe the one thing that motivated my other new products was totally forgotten!  Oh well, there’s at least something already finished for next week right!?  LOLOL, I wonder if I’ll ever get my brain back.  So first up, here’s what’s new at TDC today.  Remember each new release is 20% off Thursdays AND Fridays at The Digichick!!  First up I did a pack of flowers that were Nicole inspired, and actually one of them is a flower of hers that I scanned LOL.  How’s that for inspiration, items directly from the Sugarplum herself   She sent me a little goodie package of assorted things when she was getting ready to move.  I love it, it was a package of inspiration and ideas.  With this one, she was on the lookout for flowers that had 5 or more petals.  I had a few so I am hoping this will make her a happy skwerl

I can’t believe it’s been a month!  Over a month at that!  Gah… too much going on and a little bit of just nothing going on I guess.  I wasn’t planning on taking time away but it was just kinda thrust upon me in various ways.  I don’t even know where to start, and I don’t want to bore you either LOL.  I’ll try to keep it simple and get on with it, and man do I owe you guys some freebies soon or what?!  I planned on posting one today with my FFF new release, but I didn’t like it so I’ll make you something else this weekend that is better   I’m a little slow going in the extraction department because I broke my hand.  Yeah of course it had to be my right hand so that it makes everything insanely difficult… but on the bright side I’m just happy I CAN function with it even if it is limited.  That’s all I’m saying on that subject, I refuse to admit to how I did it LOL.  Kim knows but that’s only because she guessed and  I was too busy laughing at how well she knows me to be able to deny it fast enough   So anyway would you like to see what’s new this week?  How about all the other stuff I put out and never had the chance to blog about?!  Ok, you got it!  Plus there’s some killer goodies from Kim and Megs (Studio Flergs) that were released today too that I’m dying to show you!  Of course I’ll be an attention whore and start with my own first

Wow you guys are AWESOME! I can’t tell you how wonderful you’ve made me feel with all of your encouragement and kind words. I also can’t believe how many of you took the time to take my poll. I was already excited about moving to my new digi home, but to see how many of you support me and will still be here with me now… I can’t WAIT!!!! I’m like a kid on Christmas Eve LOL… oh boy oh boy oh boy I’m ready!! I’m doing great with my store, working hard on filling it up for you. I also started to get to work on a few brand new products for you and took your advice on which types of things to make for you! I may not get to everything for my new releases, but you can bet I will be taking your advice and requests and will do my best to get you what you are craving LOL. Also, there’s a big surprise in store for all of you at the beginning of next week! A great way to tell my secret of where I will be going! Lots of freebies involved so you don’t want to miss out I’m calling it quits for now and getting some more rest. Lucky me got a visit from the kidney stone fairy AGAIN and I’ve been out of commision all day long It has been a bad one this time too. Mark was trying to force me to go to the ER but I put up a mean fight LOL. I probably would’ve gone this time actually… it’s been that painful, but he had his hours reduced at work a few weeks back so they took away our health insurance! Just him and I, the kids have different coverage… but anyway I’ve done this song and dance too many times before to care right now. I have too much going on, and they always hit and last a few days and either pass or stop bothering me for another week or two LOL. Stupid of me, yes… but I don’t have the surgery option to fall back on at this point. I’ve had to have lithotripsy a few times in the past to get rid of them so I know what’s in store. They’re as stubborn as I am LOL! Anyway… I’ll check back with you soon, but I really just HAD to stop and say thank you so much to all of you! You’re the BEST!

So yeah, umm… no new CU Sampler or May freebie in my store today you may notice!  I’m sorry and it’s coming NEXT Thursday I PROMISE!  I’m sorry, I had to change things up a bit with all that I had going on the past week.  We celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary on Friday, and then Tuesday was my birthday BUT Wednesday was when Mark had a day off to spend with us so I kinda took Tuesday AND Wednesday off LOL.  I just had enough of the puter I think, my eyes and extracting didn’t want to get along!  I first was trying like crazy to get it done because any new submissions to the store have to be sent in for the newsletter by Sunday night.  So even though Mark had to work double shifts on Saturday and Sunday to make up for taking Friday off, I was trying my hardest to finish up the Sampler and get it turned in for you guys.  THEN I thought about it and thought that my customers deserve WAY better than that!  You guys are all so supportive and wonderful, you don’t deserve hurried extractions… even if it is just a Sampler, I still put my best and my all into it.  So I decided on Sunday night that instead of killing myself and hating the finished product, I will wait until next week and have a really perfect sampler and freebie for you… I’m even thinking that the extra time will give me time to throw in a Personal Use freebie as well!  So 2 freebies instead of one for May?  Does that make up for having to wait a week??  I hope so!  I also will leave the April freebie up the extra week just in case you didn’t grab it yet.  Trust me you wouldn’t have wanted me to just “throw” a sampler together and give you whatever I could find on my hard drive… there’s way too many spring things-a-bloomin’ outside right now for me to do that to you    So… in the meantime, DON’T FORGET MY BIRTHDAY SALE!!!!  My birthday may be over, but the sale is on until the 20th!!  Here’s the code again just to make sure you have it!

So my 2 favorite gifts this year come from my best online buddies .  For one, I’m a simple girl and I’d rather have a gift that is made from someones hands and heart… than something they bought just because they felt they “had to” you know??  I love to laugh too, so if you add those things together, you then should know you’ll make me feel really special and I’ll know just how much you wub me LOL.

So first up is my yummy birfdaycayke   Megs made me my very own cupcake that the kids can’t take and eat on me!  100% chocolate from top to bottom… complete with my token skull and crossbones   I love it and looking at it I can’t help but laugh because if you know me, then you know this is “me” in cupcake form LOL.

Seriously I had the biggest grin all night after I saw this LOL, it’s the best!

Now my other favorite was a quickie that Kim made me, and I’m thinking she’ll probably be pissed that I’m posting it because she said she did it in a hurry LOL.  Personally I think it’s hysterical and have been laughing my ass off for days now.  I keep looking at it  when I get pissy and the “BWAHAHAHAHHAHA’s” just come flooding right back to me!!!!

HAHAHAHAAHAH *sniff* gotta wipe tears from eyes again quickly, HAHAHAHAAHAHA!!!  Now you know someone wants you to have a kick ass birfday if they take the time to make either one of these two type of gifts JUST FOR YOU right?!  I am feeling very loved now LOL

HAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHA Oh what she wont do to get me laughing!!!  HAHAHAHA I LOVE IT!  Reminds me of the skwerl I just made to tease Megs on her blog.  She’s got this Twitter page freebie that she made, initially it was for a friend who requested that specific picture of Rob Pattinson.  Well now the page has taken off and been all over and everywhere it goes, someone follows it and leaves a stupid comment that says “That’s not Edward, Edward would NEVER smoke!”  HAHAHAHAHAHA… ummm hi, real life much chic?  He’s an actor and sorry to tell ya toots but Edward’s not real!  So anyway I saw the page was nominated at DST in the Scrapper’s Choice Awards, and of course there was the comment following Edward some more!  So I decided that was it, I HAD to make fun of it finally!  So I went to Megs’ blog and posted this:

“I just had to come back and show you what your careless misrepresentation of “Edward” has done to my skwerl! HOW DARE YOU post that photo with “Edward Cullen” written under it when it’s CLEARLY a photo of Rob not Edward. I know this because Edward would NEVER smoke! Look at what you’ve done to mah skwerl!

NEVER smoke! NEVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEER!”

I love my little Twilight skwerl and feel soooooo much better getting that annoying frustration out about that commentor LOLOLOLOL.  Yes, immature… that is me.  At least I didn’t do it at DST and cause a fuss

Oh before I go I want to really quickly let you know what the two of them are both up to right now!  I wouldn’t start pimping right now unless I had HUGE reasons to do so… so listen, you WILL be interested I swear!

So Megs’ big news this week is that she’s gone forward and has placed her entry into DSA’s “So you think you can design” contest!  I know the thought of her not knowing for a fact that not only CAN she design… but in my opinion she’s a reigning champ in the design world!!  She’s seriously the best in every way shape for form, she’s taught me SO much and I still get blown away by her talent on a daily basis!  Ironically when I first googled digiscrapping way back when.. Kim’s and Megs’ blogs were 2 of the first ones I visited!  Never left them either LOL… I kept going back because they were hilarious, and stuck around for the kick ass designs.  It just took me forever to learn how to use them LOL.  Luckily I found a site Bunny and Kim used to have (Scrap your art out?  was that the name…eek I can’t remember!) but it was chock full of great tutorials and helped me to learn at my own pace.  The only way to learn for me!  A bit after that I got the balls to attempt a LO, and I used one of Bunny’s templates for it… she even posted it on her blog.  I was overwhelmed and soooo honored!  I was also hooked for life.  This is so addicting LOL!  Shit, I hope me mentioning that doesn’t make that LO reappear LOL… oh my was it frightening LOLOL!  I’ve come a long way that’s for sure!  So back to Megs’ submission!  It’s so freakin awesome I just had to make sure to show it off… plus it’s also a FREEBIE!!!!  Now one thing to note here..
